Splitting rent, bills and trip costs shouldn't need an account, an app download, or an argument. ToolDrop is a set of free calculators that do one job each, explain how they got the answer, and let you send the result to the people you share costs with.

Principles

• No signup, no storage. Calculations run in your browser. See the privacy policy.
• Show the math. Every tool explains its method and works in whole cents so totals match exactly.
• Plain language. No jargon, no upsells, no fake urgency.

How the site is paid for

ToolDrop is free to use. In the future it may show advertising and may link to products we think are useful. If it ever does, ads will be clearly separated from the tools, and any link that earns us a commission will be labeled as such next to the link, as required by US Federal Trade Commission guidance. Neither affects how the calculators work.

Who runs it

A note on accuracy
